Our guidelines for workshop cancellations and material returns

Workshop Booking Cancellations

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy for workshop bookings is designed to be fair while allowing us to prepare adequately for each session:

  • 7+ days notice: Full refund or transfer to another workshop
  • 3-6 days notice: 75% refund or full transfer to another workshop
  • 1-2 days notice: 50% refund or full transfer to another workshop
  • Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: No refund, but we may offer a partial credit toward a future workshop at our discretion

To cancel or reschedule a workshop booking, please contact us by email or phone at your earliest convenience.

Workshop Materials

All materials provided as part of our workshops are carefully selected for quality and sustainability. These materials are included in the workshop fee and are yours to keep. If you are unable to attend a workshop, we can:

  • Hold your materials kit for a future workshop
  • Arrange for you to collect your materials if you wish to practice at home
  • Include the value of materials in any eligible refund

Material Kits and Supplies

For material kits and supplies purchased separately from workshops:

  • Unopened materials: May be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, minus shipping costs
  • Opened but unused materials: May be returned within 14 days of purchase for a store credit, minus shipping costs
  • Used or partially used materials: Cannot be returned unless defective

To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition and packaging.

Defective Items

If you receive defective materials or supplies:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item
  • Provide a clear description and, if possible, photos of the defect
  • We will arrange for a replacement, refund, or store credit at our discretion

Shipping for Returns

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., you received a defective item or an incorrect item). In case of our error, we will provide a prepaid shipping label.

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return or cancellation:

  2. Include your order number or booking reference
  3. Specify the items you wish to return and the reason for return
  4. We will guide you through the next steps

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We'll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.

Exceptions

Some items are non-refundable:

  • Custom-made items
  • Digital products
  • Gift cards
  • Personal care items (if opened)
